"The ameliorative effect of vitamin C and curcumin extract on oxidative stress created by malathion administration in male mice" Malathion is an organophosphate insecticide of low mammalian toxicity which is used extensively throughout the world to control major arthropods in public health programs, animal ectoparasites and to protect grain in storage. It was described that malathion exposure increases lipid peroxidation in rodent erythrocytes, liver and brain. It is known nowadays that the slogan of the world is back to nature so we will intend to use natural compounds like curcumin and vitamin C to reduce the side effects induced by malathion insecticide. The present study will be carried out to elucidate the toxic effect of Malathion and the possible ameliorative role of vitamin C or Curcumin in alleviating or reducing the toxicity of malathion when given to normal mice.
